JOIN US IN GIVING BACK TO OUR YOUNG WRITING COMMUNITY
2017 Scholarships
Each year the
Henderson Writers’ Group raises money for student scholarships. These
scholarships are for a single-day, Saturday admission to the Las Vegas Writer’s
Conference. (April 22, 2017).
Details:
What to submit: Teachers, please choose up to four students
and submit their names in the body of an email that also includes your name,
and your school.
Deadline: March 31, 2017.
Number of
Scholarships: 10.
Scholarship
award: Attendance to the Las
Vegas Writers Conference for the entire day, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday,
April 77, 2017. Award includes access to all sessions, panels, meals, and the
closing banquet with a keynote by Donald Maass.
How awards are chosen: On April 3, 2017, ten students will be
chosen by random drawing.
Please share with
other educators in Clark County, NV, who might have students interested in attending
the Las Vegas Writer’s Conference.
This program has been funded, in part, by the Nevada Arts Council, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
